This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing refunds and cancellations for GrantSense AI, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product operated by Ataur Rahman from L24 A South Ex. Delhi - 110049. By purchasing any paid subscription plan on GrantSense AI, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in this policy. This policy is governed by the applicable laws of India and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in L24 A South Ex. Delhi - 110049.

1. Subscription Plans Overview

GrantSense AI currently offers two subscription tiers designed to meet the diverse needs of Indian non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and non-profit entities. The Free Plan is available at no cost and includes basic features such as limited AI proposal generation (up to 2 proposals per month), basic grant discovery from our database of 111+ grants sourced from 53 government ministries, CSR foundations, and international funders, and access to the standard grant eligibility scoring system. No payment information is required for the Free Plan, and users may continue using it indefinitely without any obligation to upgrade.

The Pro Plan is available at a subscription fee of Rs 1,999 (Indian Rupees One Thousand Nine Hundred and Ninety-Nine Only) per year for a single user. The Team Plan is available at Rs 3,999 (Indian Rupees Three Thousand Nine Hundred and Ninety-Nine Only) per year for up to 3 team members under one organizational account. The Pro Plan includes unlimited AI-powered proposal generation, priority grant matching with advanced eligibility scoring, multi-language proposal support (Hindi, Bengali, Assamese, and other regional languages), auto-submission features for eligible grants, priority customer support with dedicated response within 24 hours, and a single user license per organization (1 user). A separate Team Plan at Rs 3,999/year supports single user access (Pro) or 3 team members (Team Plan) under one organizational account. The Pro Plan subscription period is twelve (12) calendar months from the date of successful payment.

IMPORTANT: STRICT NO-REFUND POLICY

All payments made towards GrantSense AI subscription plans, including the Pro Plan, are strictly non-refundable. Once a payment has been successfully processed, under no circumstances shall the subscription amount or any portion thereof be refunded to the subscriber. This is a final and absolute policy with no exceptions. By completing the payment, you explicitly agree to this non-refundable condition.

2. No Refund Policy - Detailed Terms

GrantSense AI maintains a strict no-refund policy for all paid subscriptions. This means that once the payment for the Pro Plan (Rs 1,999/year) or any other future paid plan has been successfully processed through our payment gateway (Razorpay), the amount paid is non-refundable under any and all circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to, the following scenarios:

(a) Change of mind: If you decide you no longer wish to use the service after purchasing the Pro Plan, no refund will be issued. We strongly recommend that you thoroughly explore the Free Plan and evaluate all features before making a purchase decision. The Free Plan is designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of the platform capabilities.

(b) Non-usage or partial usage: If you purchase the Pro Plan but do not use the service, or use it only partially during the subscription period, no refund or credit will be provided for the unused portion. The subscription fee covers access to the platform for the entire 12-month period, regardless of actual usage.

(c) Dissatisfaction with AI-generated content: The quality and relevance of AI-generated grant proposals depend on multiple factors including the accuracy and completeness of the organizational profile provided by the user, the specificity of the grant requirements, and the inherent limitations of artificial intelligence technology. If you are not satisfied with the AI-generated proposals, no refund will be issued. We encourage users to refine their organizational profiles and provide detailed inputs for better results.

(d) Grant application rejection: GrantSense AI is a tool that assists in grant discovery and proposal generation. We do not guarantee that any grant application submitted using our platform will be approved or funded by the grant-making body. Rejection of a grant application by any funder, government ministry, CSR foundation, or international agency does not entitle the subscriber to a refund.

(e) Technical issues or service interruptions: While we strive to maintain 99.9% uptime and provide uninterrupted service, temporary technical issues, server maintenance, third-party service disruptions, or force majeure events do not qualify for a refund. In the event of extended unplanned downtime exceeding 72 consecutive hours, we may, at our sole discretion, extend the subscription period by an equivalent number of days, but no monetary refund will be issued.

(f) Duplicate payment: In the rare event of a duplicate payment due to technical error, the duplicate amount (not the original subscription amount) will be reversed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days upon verification. This is not considered a refund but a correction of a billing error.

3. Cancellation Policy

Subscribers may cancel their Pro Plan subscription at any time through the Settings page within their GrantSense AI dashboard account. However, it is important to understand the following terms regarding cancellation:

(a) No refund upon cancellation: Cancelling your Pro Plan subscription does not entitle you to a refund of any portion of the subscription fee already paid. The cancellation amount is strictly non-refundable. Whether you cancel on the first day or the last day of your subscription period, the full subscription fee of Rs 1,999 remains non-refundable.

(b) Continued access until expiry: Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to all Pro Plan features until the end of your current 12-month subscription period. For example, if you purchased the Pro Plan on January 15, 2026, and cancel on March 20, 2026, you will retain full Pro access until January 14, 2027.

(c) Automatic downgrade: After the subscription period expires following cancellation, your account will automatically be downgraded to the Free Plan. You will retain access to your account, saved proposals, and organizational profile, but will be subject to Free Plan limitations (2 proposals per month, basic grant discovery).

(d) No automatic renewal: GrantSense AI does not currently implement automatic renewal of subscriptions. You will not be charged again after your subscription expires unless you manually choose to renew by initiating a new payment. If auto-renewal is introduced in the future, subscribers will be notified at least 30 days in advance and will have the option to opt out.

(e) Data retention: Upon downgrade to the Free Plan, all your previously generated proposals, grant search history, and organizational data will be retained for a period of 12 months. After this retention period, inactive account data may be archived or deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

4. Payment Processing

All payments on GrantSense AI are processed securely through Razorpay, a Reserve Bank of India (RBI) authorized payment aggregator. We accept payments via UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM), credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, American Express), debit cards, net banking (all major Indian banks), and select wallets. All payment transactions are encrypted using 256-bit SSL encryption and comply with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) requirements.

The subscription amount of Rs 1,999 is inclusive of all applicable taxes including Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the prevailing rate. GrantSense AI will provide a GST-compliant invoice for all Pro Plan purchases, which can be downloaded from the Billing section of the dashboard. The invoice will include our GSTIN, the subscriber organization details, the amount paid, and the applicable tax breakup.

In the event of a payment failure, no amount will be deducted from your account. If an amount is debited but the subscription is not activated due to a transaction timeout or gateway error, the amount will be automatically refunded by the payment gateway within 5-7 business days. This is handled by Razorpay and not by GrantSense AI.

5. Free Trial and Free Plan

GrantSense AI does not currently offer a free trial of the Pro Plan. Instead, we provide a fully functional Free Plan that allows users to experience the core features of the platform before making a purchase decision. The Free Plan includes 2 AI proposals per month, full access to the grant discovery database, organizational profile creation, and basic eligibility scoring. We believe this provides sufficient opportunity for users to evaluate the platform and make an informed purchase decision, which further supports our strict no-refund policy.

6. Account Termination by GrantSense AI

GrantSense AI reserves the right to suspend or terminate any user account that violates our Terms of Service, engages in fraudulent activity, misrepresents organizational information, or uses the platform for purposes other than legitimate grant discovery and proposal generation. In the event of account termination due to policy violations, no refund of the subscription fee will be provided. If GrantSense AI permanently discontinues its service (with no successor product), a prorated refund for the remaining subscription period may be considered at our sole discretion.

7. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute regarding payments, cancellations, or any matter related to this refund policy, the subscriber should first contact our support team at support@grantsense.com with a detailed description of the issue, the registered email address, the payment transaction ID, and the date of payment. Our team will respond within 48 hours and make every effort to resolve the matter amicably. If the dispute cannot be resolved through direct communication, it shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the seat of arbitration in L24 A South Ex. Delhi - 110049. The arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator mutually agreed upon by both parties, and the decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding.

8. Amendments to This Policy

GrantSense AI reserves the right to modify, update, or replace this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time without prior individual notice. Any changes to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. It is the responsibility of the subscriber to review this policy periodically for any changes. Continued use of the paid service after any modifications to this policy constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of the modified terms. For significant changes that materially affect subscriber rights, we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users via email at least 15 days before the changes take effect.
